Willemstad –  Curacao Airport Partners (CAP) eksitosamente  a pasa e oudit pa ku Aeropuerto Internashonal di Kòrsou hasí e aña aki pa Outoridat di Aviashon Sivil di Kòrsou (CCAA, Curacao Civil Aviation Authority). E sertifikashon ta un rekonosementu di e stándarnan di e Organisashon Internashonal di Aviashon Sivil (ICAO) pa loke ta operashon i seguridat di Aeropuerto. Durante un seremonia ofisial, Minister di Tráfiko, Transporte i Planifikashon Urbano, Zita Jesus Leito den presensia di ouditornan di CCAA i e tim operashonal di CAP, a hasi entrega di e Sertifikashon na e CEO di CAP sr. Ralph Blanchard, den oudiensia di inspektornan di CCAA i tim operashonal di CAP.

 

E inspektornan di CCAA a realisá e oudit riba aeropuerto internashonal di Kòrsou na luna di mart último. E oudit ta un inspekshon obligatorio di ICAO. E sertifikashon ta kubri aspekto manera entre otro proseduranan di seguridat operashonal, áreanan operashonal pa avionnan, áreanan pa stashoná avion, markeo di outopista, iluminashon, i e parti di atendé ku emergensha. Mirando e resultado positivo di e oudit i kumplimentu di parti di CAP, CCAA ta otorgá Aeropuerto Internashonal di Kòrsou e sertifikashon pa tres aña.

 

E proseso di sertifikashon

Mester bisa ku dia 31 yanüari 2017, CCAA a anunsiá e finalisashon di e proseso pa sertifikashon di Hato. CCAA a traha den un estrecho kooperashon ku CAP riba e proseso di sertifikashon pa un aña.

Na desèmber 2016 un tim di ouditoria a tene un kontròl di sertifikashon, manera rekerí pa ICAO su dokumento number 9774 pa garantisá e kumplimentu di e aeropuerto internashonal huntu ku ICAO i Kòrsou su reglamentu i normanan di referensia (desèmber 19 te kua 22).

Pa medio di e sertifikashon aki Kòrsou, a kumpli ku un ophetivo mas establesé dor di ICAO su 2014 ‘Port of Spain Declaration’. CCAA a realisá e kontròl obligatorio den mart 2018 i mirando e resultado positivo a sertifiká e aeropuerto pa 3 aña.

CAP successfully passes CCAA audit Minister Jesus-Leito awards CAP Aerodrome Certificate 2018

 

Willemstad – Curaçao Airport Partners (CAP) successfully passed the audit held this year at Curaçao International Airport by the country’s Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA). The certification recognizes compliance of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards in airport operations and safety. During an official ceremony, the Minister of Traffic, Transport and Urban Planning Mrs. Zita Jesus-Leito, officially awarded the certification to CAP CEO Ralph Blanchard, while in presence of the auditors of CCAA and the Operational team of CAP. 

The inspectors of the CCAA performed an audit at Curaçao International Airport in March 2018. The audit is a mandatory inspection as set by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). The certification covers items such as operational safety procedures, the Aircraft Operating Areas, aircraft parking areas, markings, lighting, and emergency response. Due to the positive audit results and compliance by CAP, the CCAA is certifying Curaçao International Airport for three years.

The certification process

On January 31st 2017, the CCAA announced the completion of the HATO certification process. The CCAA has worked in great cooperation with CAP, for the certification process of the aerodrome for a year. In December 2016 an audit team conducted the certification audit, as required by the ICAO document 9774 to ensure compliance of the international airport with ICAO and the Curaçao regulations and referenced standards (December 19 until 22). By means of this certification Curaçao has complied with one more of the set targets by the ICAO 2014 Port-of-Spain Declaration.

CCAA performed the mandatory inspection in March 2018. Due to the positive results CCAA is certifying the airport for three years.
